I hit the Path at 4:00pm, a beautiful end to a freakishly warm Winter Solstice. The first thing I noticed was the plume of smoke rising from Elizabeth New Jersey....
And Now the 82nd Street Pothole Report....
Dear DOT Commissioner
Janette Sadik-Khan
This is Not a Repair but a very temporary, damaging and cheap solution to a situation which has become obvious over the past few decades, Why is this Bike Path So Neglected?
Sincerely, Regular Shore Parkway Bike Path User

Oh, Look! A Cheap soon to be dangerous repair! |
Small Debris Warning... |
When I took these pictures the black top was very soft. |
And a continuation of the previous pothole... |
Let's see how long it takes before this punches through to the bottom? One good snowstorm should do it... |
| |
Other than the Huge Pothole no other major changes happened on the bike path. Except the new addition to our skyline. That huge plume of smoke rising from Elizabeth New Jersey.....
The plume of smoke almost lined up with the pier |
You could definitely smell it... |
Stay Warm and Ride Safe!
